No $ available for EFT help but any and all help/links I could do on my own or free help - most appreciated. Tumors in throat, tonsils, tongue, eustacian tube and maybe more - facing minimum 6 weeks radiation and inductive chemo 5 days a week. Severe pain and unbearable to talk or swallow right now. Thank you.

I am a speech therapist who works closely with cancer patients. The main thing I tell my patients no matter how much it hurts, try to keep swallowing. The swallowing mechanism is a astrodinary function of the body. Many muscles work closely together to complete the simple act of swallowing. Unfortunately when a patient has tumors in the throat area and especially patients that have to receive radiation to that area, the muscles “forget” how to work or become “frozen” and unable to move. And for most cancer patients even after all treatments have been completed and they are in remission, they are still unable to swallow. So my suggestion to you is to keep swallowing something….the most safest thing to keep swallowing is water. Water is completely safe because even if you cough and it goes into your airway, the water won’t hurt you! I also have my cancer patients complete daily exercises to keep their swallowing muscles strong. If you are interested in learning these exercises, email me and I can train you!

Have you ever heard about Chinese Chi Kung? May be practice that will help you get through cancer without pain.At least have it a try, just like a kind of body exercise, you got nothing to lose
