I have MS. I can’t tell you how many “great” drugs I have been given over the years. Many have been taken off the market, caused great truama to my body, or I have become addicted to them. I do not take my medication to get high, just to take the pain away. Now the medication does not work. But if I don’t take them I have DT’s I use EFT and it does work. How many times I have heard docs say don’t know what to do. EFT never has. I don’t need an app’t, nor wait 1 hour to see a doc. Try it!
When I was nursing I had a joke I would tell the doc’s
What is the difference between God and Doctors?
God does not think he is a Doctor.
Anyone notice that when the doc has a new great drug to give you, you can also notice that the pen they are writing the script with is from the same company or the postnotes, or the little ads, booklets, wallpaper, the back of their jeans, they just named their newborn after the drug, ect. EFT ask nothing, cost nothing, and no forms to fill, again.
Many use the chocolate as an example, since so many people can understand the “need” for chocolate. I though believe that chocolate is a major food group. I tap for a chocolate tree to start growing by my bed. It looks more like gummie bears.
Tapping does work for me and for many others. Some hospitals are using tapping and Reiki as part of their protocol. Just because science cant prove it does not make it so.
People are still debating if the tree falls will it make a sound. We know.
check out Dr. Bruce Lipton’s videos for some excellent info on mind and matter.
interesting !

So it takes an accupuncture “doctor” about six years to learn all the meridians and needle points, yet this bozo claims he can teach EFT in five minutes?
Accupuncture and EFT are both bullsh!t placebo effect nonsense.
you might get more respect and consideration from those reading your opinons without the use of harsh language.
I’d tap that.
Thank you
destroying the ego through unconditional love and kindness and learning to experience emotions without analyzing or repressing them (the ego) leads to happiness
come on! how ridiculous.. people educate yourselves. each individual learn how to cope. real anxiety is not so easily defined. for example, most people with anxiety disorder can’t identify what is making them fearful or anxious..So therefore you couldn’t do the “even though I etc., etc, I accept myself”
B.S.
That’s not true at all. If you don’t believe me then go on a social phobia/anxiety forum online and you’ll see that people with anxiety know exactly what it is that makes them anxious or fearful.
I’m a family MD with 35 years experience. I have been using EFT in my practice for 4+ years. (I usually refer to a certified EFT practitioner but work with patients myself also – treated an Irag infantry vet with moderately severe PTSD for 3+ years – symptoms totally resolved after 4 sessions)
This is a very promising and effective tool – good scientific studies published and more underway.
Consult a trained EFT counsellor, particularly for longstanding problems and addictions.
I think “88bananapeels” said it all…
This is just another form of auto suggestion. You mention that Dr Mecola supports this system? I very much respect Dr Mecola but if this is true, then he has lost all credibility in my opinion lol
sorry I meant to type Dr Mercola…

even if it is auto suggestion – does it matter so long as it works! Even if not for everyone … it gives a sense of empowerment in ones life and that is important to all…..
This stuff is the bomb. Give it a go, it costs you nothing, it can harm you nought, and it might just be the solution you have been looking for.
It was for me.
One little tip – I’ve found it very effective to say “even though I (problem here) I forgive myself.” Seems to have an even deeper result.
Big love to you all!!
This is not going to work in the long run. That is why auto suggestion should not be practiced. Ego can make someone go towards evil without the person knowing that it will hurt afterwards. Instead of these kinds of techniques, I would suggest meditation, I find that Vipassana is a good one.
Auto suggestion or allowing the unconscious mind to produce thoughts and ideas through meditation have something in common… the suggestions, ideas, thoughts and visulizations all come from your unconscious mind, and if you can’t trust YOUR unconscious mind, then who’s unconscious mind can you trust!
In auto suggestion, you are using the conscious mind to produce thoughts and ideas whereas in meditation, you just watch the unconscious mind doing whatever it does. You just imagined the trust part that you said.
In meditation, after watching the thoughts that come up in the conscious mind as well as the emotions and feelings that you can watch, you then decide as to which ones will be good for everyone and which one will not be. Auto suggestion is something like forcing your subconscious mind to your own conscious whims and fancies. Even Hitler and others like him were thinking that they were doing good!
This is interesting how it address whatever issue is going on, instead of the “clear your mind” method. I will try it out, see how it works in the long term. Sure beats pills!
@Yankee; why isn’t this working in the long run? You have experience with EFT on long-term? Any research on it? This is not a substitute for meditation or vice versa, both are totally different and both are valuable. And yes, i have plenty of experience with EFT, both as “client” and “therapist”
