    If she is willing to do the EFT, focus on any specific physical reactions or thoughts that come up when she imagines someone touching her neck. Set up the tapping with “even though I have (list the specific symptoms) when I think of being touched on the neck, I deeply and completely accept myself. Tap on the points while focusing on the symptoms. Repeat the entire process until the phobia is gone. There may still be other aspects (symptoms) that arise. Do the tapping on each one.

    hi. during the last couple of months i have developed agoraphobia with panic attacks. i just started using over-the-counter anxiolytics and herbal tea but it takes a great amount of time for the effect to kick in… i need something more immediate; something i could use lets say, in my office. would you recommend the EFT technique?

    I’ve read the manual from Gary Craig and he uses a point underneath the breast after tapping underneath the armpit. You use the top of the head which he doesn’t.

    Does it make any difference whether I use the top of my head or the point underneath the breast?

    There are additional points you can use including under the breast, the wrists and ankles. What is important is that the stuck energy will move when you tap the point related to that issue for you. You may feel a noticable shift at a particular point, yawn, sigh, or have another response. This is a point you will want to use frequently.

    I just downloaded the whole manual today, read all the way through part 1, did this 3 separate times. no immediate difference in vision, or itchiness, but about a 2 min relief from heartburn (which returned). my psychic who reffered me to this program said that the skin problems are from childhood memories in japan. So ill work on that tommorow.

    When you tap on symptoms, they can subside temporarily and return. When you tap on the source of the symptoms, they often resolve. It is not easy to get to the underlying core issues alone. A skilled meridian tapping or eft practitioner can be more effective and shortcut the process for you. I’m happy to help you by phone or you can find a practioner closer to where you live by scouting online. I strongly recommend this for effective & lasting results on symptoms that persist.

    Thank you so much for the great information. I used it yesterday as an experiment and I was really pleased with the results. I would like to use it for an issue that hasn’t responded to anything else. The issue was peer rejection and lack of confidence in childhood. Today, when I’m rejected or fail at something, those old feelings return with a vengeance. It’s obviously not at a conscious level. Can you give me any tips on working with this. I don’t have an EFT practitioner in my area.

    I have been practicing for a week, and have been amazed at my specific responses, and a general mood lift.

    Is it typical to have a negative emotion arise while conducting EFT? For instance, as I was trying to alleviate a craving, I was below five, when I got a queasy stomach.

    At that point, I said, “even though I have this queasiness in my stomach, I ___. Maybe the queasiness represents anxiety that was underneath the other emotions?

    You are wonderful and so helpful.

    Yes! As you clear the symptom, which is the surface reaction to the underlying discomfort, the next layer of the issue will reveal itself. This is a good thing, because now you can see the next clue to the real issue. Each layer can be cleared until the core or origin of the issue reveals itself. You approached this correctly! Keep going…. If you get to a spot where it is challenging to continue and want a coach to get through that layer, let me know.

    Thank you so much. I think at some point, I will need a coach. Right now, I have a million directions I can go in, so I’ll try a few first. Also, this queasiness is turning up everywhere and surprising me.

    The reason it is turning up so much is that an originating experience is connected to your perspective on nearly everything in life. Our true self, soul, purpose keeps attempting to move forward while our conditioning/core issues keep us stuck. EFT can clear the stuckness efficiently. Then, you can harness the energy to move powerfully in the direction of your true purpose. Fast or slow. you will get this resolved, because you are asking the question. Your teacher will appear ; )

    thank you so much for this video. I was in a group therapy which focused on cbt and one of the therapists touched on this subject. I forgot all about it but, I’ve learned so much more from your video and I know if I believe it, it will come. thank you so much again.
