everyone is entitled to their opinions of course, however, give it as go, then let us know

  2. BaileyLush

I agree. It didnt work for me, but im not that bitter as to tell other people not to try it. If it works for them, great!

  3. StregaMichaela

I know this for a FACT: every time I have used EFT to deal with something, it has worked. EVERY. TIME. RESULTS! If it didn’t work for you, then, by all means, don’t use it. But to call someone a sham who has yet to cause harm, while claiming that allopathic medicine (Western model of medicine) is the ONLY way is a crock. Every day, you read about another drug that the FDA approved and Big Pharma rushed to market causing all kinds of harm. If I joined every suit for every drug hubby took…

Part 2: I would be wealthy. He took a lot of medication that have since been yanked unceremoniously from the market, yet he survived. Some of the meds he’s been on that are still available have caused him problems. And many also work for him. He has also been to a chiropractor, to great benefit and had acupuncture and acupressure to great benefit and takes supplements to great benefit. You have to find that which works for you and use it. And if you DON’T like something, you can’t have it!

When someone raped me I used EFT and it helped me move on. I can trust people.

    your a fag lol

  7. Listendudeok

    “your a fag lol”
Thanks for your great EFT wisdom, kid.
    Really convincing.

  8. t187b

Lol.. I figured that would work better.

If EFT relaxes and provides a similar placebo method, then great. If all we’re looking for to get over our problems is a placebo effect and EFT is producing placebo effects faster and more frequent then swallowing a fake pill—then GREAT! Why debate about it? Who cares how it works… it works. No one should care if this is just a placebo effect, if thats all you need then BRAVO!!

Just to let you know, I battled with shoulder injuries from sports and nothing helped it.. not even intensive physio for months. It would still dislocate and cause pain. After seeing a professional sports practioner with EFT, I no longer have ANY pains and I returned back to sports without fearing my injury again. She removed the blocks and also the fear of reinjury as well as the pain. Thanks placebo effect, I guess you aren’t a healing method after all.. fucking tard.

Read about Gary Craig and his creditials. Also you might want to read something about Neuro-linguistic Programming. (NLP)and the science behind it and EFT.

And look at Erik Erickson and even Freud. But if you want you can find evidence beyond “anecdotal” It was “a fact “the world was flat at one time. Although neuro docs have studied the brain for many years, what was not known yesterday, didn’t make it not true yesterday. DNA 50 years ago was just an idea. Test Tube babies, TV Dinners

  11. Justtobelieve

    THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

I bet Michael Jackson wishes he had less of a “real doctor”

I do not mean to be disrespectful.

  12. standekoster

    keep going
learning to ride with a bike
also doesnt work on the first time

  13. BaileyLush

I tried dillegently for months. It just didn’t help me. But different strokes for different folks I suppose.

  14. standekoster

    well what do you have?
    physical,emotional?

  15. BaileyLush

Ide say emotional. Panic attacks and extreme anxiety. With a little bit of BDD. but the panic attacks cause me physical distress (obviousley) Haha. Did EFT help you???

  16. Listendudeok

Yes, placebo works, temporarily. But the EFT guys don’t admit that it is based on the placebo effect. Secondly, some people, especially the EFT guru Gary Craig, claims to heal everthing by tapping yourself, including severe traumas, which is absolute hilarious and absurd.
Placebo is not a healing method.
That’s why it is just another little scam by the pseudo-medicine scence, using gullible people looking for real help.

  17. t187b

Hey, whatever works. Keep trying to be ”intelligent” by saying things like Pseudo-medicine science” This isn’t helping anyone. The fact is people are getting relief, regardless of whats happening. Even if at worst, its temporary, isn’t that better then nothing?

  18. t187b

Point being, I had a shoulder injury which dislocated every time I played hockey or made weird movements. After two sessions, it never came back and I restarted my hockey career. Not only was my arm not popping out when I put it in certain positions, but my internal dialogue was actually changed in my head. I went to physio for years and nothing worked. It always popped out and hurt. I can say its been 1 year since EFT… thank you! Placebo or not!!!

  19. sandphunt

You have obviously tried it for something? Placebo is utilising our belief system, OMG what an amazing thing to do! There is no medicine (orthodox) which will ever heal you. Why is it a scam? Who’s scamming who? It’s a method of self healing which is 1. Free, you don’t even need pay for it? Who’s scamming who? People who don’t intellectually have the capacity to understand something, usually fear it, what do you fear?

  20. Listendudeok

My intellectual capacity is still enough considerable enough to go against scammers, quackery, and lies, especially in questions health, where I find the audacity of charlatans exploiting gullible, sick people the worst of all.
Which side are you on? The one based on evidence, or the side of nothingness and lies?
But I don’t expect much of an answer from someone who, typically, only mobs critics.
EFT, apart from looking ridiculous, is based on… nothing. There are no meridians.

  21. Listendudeok

t187b. I’m just against lies. If you have found personal comfort in tapping yourself, so be it. But EFT claims to heal everything, even severe traumas, imagine that, which is absurd. It’s not a healing method. All things non-medicinal and alternative don’t heal, they are based on the placebo effect, which helps temporarily; main difference between a healing method and the placebo effect. Sure people feel better when they are in need of kindness and affection; but this is no medicine.

  22. t187b

I don’t blame you, if you tried it and it didnt work. But EFT is a skill that needs to be learned just like anything else. I had bad results when I went to a someone who wasnt that good. Then I went to someone thats been behind this for a long time (with Gary Craig) and it was amazing.

  23. t187b

I am not into this type of stuff either. Last person you would see tapping. My advice, try out someone professional and do your research. Watch the videos on PTSD and their long term improvement, traumas do go away. Just because you and your friends did stuff and it didnt work..means nothing!

  24. BCLaraby

EFT helped me overcome years of emotional and physical abuse in my past. I used to be terrified to think about it – EFT allowed me to erase the emotional connections to these traumatic events and move on with my life.

I don’t know about some of the more extraordinary claims, but I do know that after living with vivid nightmares for decades, 2 weeks worth of EFT got rid of them and they haven’t been back.

BTW no one knows WHY the ‘placebo’ effect works. They can’t even quantify what it is.

As a uk University Science graduate (honours) a researcher, a Buddhist and a fan of Einstein let me tell you all….we are all energy, matter is all energy and we do most definitely have three circulatory systems in our bodies; blood, lymph and electro-magnetic energy. The tapping of certain areas of the body can, without doubt, modify the energy system…which in turn affects stuff…this has been known about for 5000 years.I am now embarking on a therapist career…completely free of charge.
